Some time back, I asked this group about this song. Dennis C., from
Tennessee, with his keen memory, confirmed there was childish chatter
after the lyrics "children saying hello...". However, afterwards, I
began doubting myself, because I could not find that air played version!
Well, here it is, in True Stereo! This particular song was studio sliced
and diced with lots of dubbing, including the childish chatter
overdubbing - opening an opportunity for a very odd ending. With two
clean edits, I personally removed portions of the song just to shorten
it!!....

Boy, you can't even tell where I edited it; I'm just that good! :-)

Spanky and crew, come on down for a second round of applause!
Thank you, too, Dennis!

Nothing new here. Everyone here with even half a brain already knows all
about the various versions of Spanky's songs.

And nothing new about you personally removing portions of songs to
shorten them to your 30 second "Hey group, look what I have
and you don't!" song snippet teasers - from uncredited sources.

Now just hold on here, Long Tall Taliesn!!!

Not everybody knew about this version and Uni has already gone on
record that it was due to MY keen memory that dredged up this "Lazy
Day" version that included the interluding "hello-how's it going"
exchanges!!!!

I mean...............that's a real contribution from me here!!!!

What a sea change we have here what with Freddie Wilhelms spitting
out erroneous garbage like David Ruffin originally recorded "Statue of
a Fool" and Tennessee Dennis proving that the "C" stands for
CONTRIBUTORY!!!!!

Wilhelms can be credited with first recording "Fat chew of a Stool"
thanks to all the garralous bull shit he's slathered onto these
boards, baby!!!!

Talyboy!!!!

Don't deny me my hour of contributory limelight!!!!!!

You, Dennis, have proven to be a Gem Rock of Music knowledge, unlike
Talyboy (and Fred), who is nothing more than recycled concrete! :-)

Very true! If it's not written in a book or on some web page, seldom do
I get questioned answered here about song content! They, like you, sir,
should remember these important facts! What's the sense of knowing about
artists if you can't remember their song content!?

Thanks, again, Dennis "Gem" C!
