Okay, so it didn't chart Top 40, but who cares! It was too high power,
raw energy a song for that time period! Would have charted better if
released '67-'68! Would like to find this in Stereo, but this Mono will
do for now! I see the Brothers were record label jumping. Only Brothers
to chart the same song three times, all Top 20!!! Can you guess the
song? Actually, this past budget priced CD offers some nice sound
quality! Must of been a regional hit, if I remember it! Hit it, Right
Guys!....

Moonglow Record for this one? Sounds a bit too much for a Phil Spector
production!!!

Thanks!

Yeah, I can't imagine Spector producing a high energy song like this! He
had a thing for black artists, anyway! He should have stuck with The
Teddy Bears! So, how did this song manage to turn up on a Belgium owned
record label, Moonglow Records?

Nice story, Jim!

Now Uni. Don't you know that in order to post
on this group, you are required to know everything
about every song and artist from 1/1/60 to 12/31/69?

And that incorrect knowledge doesn't count. You have
to know and like the correct artists, not the
crappy and obscure ones.

Who's "they"?.... You mean "we"?

"We" already know the common bargain bin Top 10 versions. They're a
fuckin' dime a dozen. Show "us" something of interest, something "we" can
use. Or is it your aim here simply to introduce Sixties music to those born
after 1990? Did I just reveal your year of birth? Oooops, sorry!

If you don't like being made fun of then don't say, "I never heard of this
singer, she can't be any good because her song didn't chart as high."
A neanderthal response like that will only get you what you deserve:
mockery. Try acting like a musicologist and do some actual research. That's
what separates you from a Mike Callahan or a Dick Bartley. Right now I have
trouble separating you from that lady from Wasilla, Alaska. At least she
tried.

How on earth would I know what every record company is currently
releasing?

I can only tell you what other good versions there might be in addition
to the common ones you generally list... like the Shelby Flint song that
I thought was superior to the common instrumental version. Flint's
version (album version) is available in stereo. However you quickly
dissed it simply because you never heard of her or it. Anyone with even
half a brain would have said I'll try to track it down and have a
listen. So, you get what you generally deserve: no respect.

"Plonk" for me is a figure of speech and not a software function, though
the meaning is much the same. Normally it's quite difficult to earn a
