It's a cover of an Easybeats tune. I thought it sounded familiar!

Ah, The Thorts. A well-known band from OZ. This one's from a studio,
but they were best known as a "beach" band and they had a lot of
proto-videos lip-syncing on the beach (think Paul Revere & the Raiders
on "Where the Action Is!"), where they worn below-the-knee Bermuda
Shorts in wacky patterns that became known as "Thorts Shorts". There
was even a novelty record by the Teen Royales called "Who Wears Thorts
Shorts?". (Contrary to legend, Al Cooper [heir to the Cooper Brewery
fortune http://www.coopers.com.au/ ) was NOT in the group at the time.)

Right after the filming of this clip, the bassist and guitarist were
kicked out of the band, and formed the even less known group,
"Out of Thorts".

(And if you don't believe me, just check Wikipedia. But give me a few
minutes to post it...).

Great video....cool performance....BUT ! I can't find any info
about this group, The intro of the vid says they're from Perth.
Any info on the members, record label, (Clarion ??) or timeframe of the band
would be
appreciated.

Thanx
